CORPORATE STATEMENT
Since the beginning of 2020, everyone all over the world, including all of us in Indonesia, are facing a crisis caused by the spreading of a new virus called Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please allow me on behalf of Biznet management and staff, to sincerely express our concerns to our fellow Indonesians who have been affected by the virus.
Based on the situation of the spreading of Coronavirus continues to evolve, all of us at Biznet are monitoring the situation on a routine basis. Our main focus is to ensure that all of our employees and their family remain healthy, and to ensure that all or our business facilities, at all of our offices, are working properly at all times. Biznet’s branch offices in more than 110 cities in Java, Bali, Sumatra, Batam, Sulawesi and Kalimantan islands, are operating normally to serve our valued customers.
As per today, operational business activities are still running properly, and all activities are being rolled out by referring to official protocols and regulations from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and WHO (World Health Organization) in regards to the preventive measures in dealing with Coronavirus. We are also making our best efforts to ensure that our customers can always feel safe to visit our offices by providing hand sanitizer in all Biznet Stores and offices, since the health of our customers and employees has become our main priority.
Based on the situation, we would also like to inform you that we have decided to postpone several events and activities that were supposed to be conducted in the next couple of months. The decision was taken as part of our efforts to avoid having many people at one location, to avoid the spread of Coronavirus. Having the decision, we hope that everyone and every party involved in the process of the events’ preparation, including partners, contractors, and all of our customers, understand the whole circumstances.
As an integrated digital infrastructure company in Indonesia, we try to remain calm and responsible to continue providing the best service for all of our customers. We fully understand that in time of crisis like today, highquality Internet connection holds a crucial role in terms of information and update sharing related to the current issue, from all over the world, especially virus-affected countries. Therefore, we continue ensuring our Internet, Data Center, Cloud Computing and IPTV services are running at all times.
We hope that all of us can remain positive and optimistic, and remain calm in dealing with the situation and difficult time that we are facing together. Please search for information and update from reliable and trusted sources regarding this issue, so the spread of Hoax can be reduced. Let’s use the Internet to share information that can give positive contributions for others, our environment and ourselves. We believe that by facing this tough time together, we will be able to pass this together.
Lastly, we hope that the number of Coronavirus patients will continue to go down and things will get better soon. May all of us remain safe, and our best prayers for everyone in Indonesia and also the world.
Warm regards,
Adi Kusma
